acquire British multinational competitor SABMiller;
the merger was concluded in October 2016. It was the world's largest brewer
even before the acquisition of SABMiller and is considered one of the
largest fast-moving consumer goods companies
in the world. The annual sales for the company in 2019 were US$52.3 billion; prior
to the merger, ABInBev had realized US$45.5 billion in revenue in 2016. The
company was expected to have a 28 percent market share of global volume beer
sales in 2017, according to Euromonitor International.

Primary Purpose of the role
The industrial trainee will be learning about different aspects of
taxation and finance domain from Day 1 and delivering simultaneously. The role
will give the trainee the opportunity to learn about DT assessment, DT
compliances, IDT compliances, IDT assessments and Controls & Reporting. It
will also give the trainee the opportunity to join us full-time post completion
of their degree, basis their performance and leadership's decision.
Key Tasks & Accountabilities
Direct taxes assessment:
a) Working on existing income tax assessment proceedings
b) Assessment preparedness for 3 AY's
c) Support on transfer pricing assessment proceedings
DT Compliances
a) Tax audit
b) TDS/TCS compliances
c) TRACES demand rectification
IDT Compliances
a) GST return workings
b) e-invoicing weekly rectifications
c) GST reconciliations - credit, RCM and PR 2A reco
d) VAT return workings and reconciliation
IDT Assessments
a) VAT/CST existing assessment
b) GST Audit
c) Form C and F end-to-end management
Controls and Reporting
a) MICS effectiveness testing
b) Audit schedules preparation
c) Accounting SOP preparations
d) Hygiene of books of accounts
e) Old Accruals review

Education & Experience
Pursuing CA, must have already completed 2 years of articleship
experience
